Web design agency in Chicago

A website is not a brochure. It is the thing standing between someone finding you and someone calling you. We build websites for Chicago businesses that are fast, work properly on a phone, and are set up so SEO has something to work with.

What is included

Build or rebuild

New site, or fixing the one you have if the bones are good.

Built for phones first

Most of your visitors are on a phone. That is where we design it.

Speed

Slow sites lose people and rank worse. We keep them quick.

Built to be found

Structure, page titles and service pages set up so SEO has something to work with.

Forms and calls that work

Tested on real devices, going to an inbox you actually check.

Tracking

So you can see what pages bring in the calls.

What each part actually involves

Open any of these for the detail. The first one is expanded so you can see the level we go into.

Build or rebuild A new site if you need one, or fixing the existing one if the bones are sound.

We will tell you honestly which — rebuilding a site that only needs speed and structure work wastes your money, and patching one built badly wastes it slower.

Everything is built on WordPress unless there is a reason not to. That is deliberate: you own it, you can edit it, and you are not locked into a proprietary platform that holds your site hostage if you leave. If we stop working together you keep everything, on your own hosting, with no dependency on us.

Built for phones first Most of your visitors are on a phone, often standing outside deciding whether to come in.

We design at that width first and expand upward, rather than designing a desktop site and squeezing it down, which is how you end up with tap targets people miss and text they have to pinch to read.

Practically that means buttons big enough for a thumb, forms that do not zoom the page when you tap a field, phone numbers that dial when tapped, and a menu that works one-handed.

Speed Slow sites lose visitors and rank worse.

Google measures loading performance directly as a ranking factor, and people abandon pages that take more than a few seconds regardless of what Google thinks.

We compress and correctly size every image, keep the script load light, use caching properly, and test on a real mobile connection rather than on office wifi. Most local business sites we take over are carrying several megabytes of unnecessary images.

Built so SEO has something to work with A site can look excellent and be structurally useless for search.

If every service is crammed onto one page, there is nothing for Google to rank against a specific query, and no amount of SEO work afterwards fixes that cheaply.

So we structure it correctly from the start: a page per service, a clear heading hierarchy, proper titles and descriptions, internal links that pass authority to the pages that need it, and schema markup so search engines understand what the business is. It costs nothing extra at build time and saves a rebuild later.

Forms and calls that actually work We test every form on real devices and confirm the submissions arrive in an inbox somebody checks.

It sounds obvious. We have taken over sites where the contact form had been quietly failing for months and the owner assumed business was slow.

We also make the phone number tappable everywhere, put the main action above the fold on mobile, and keep forms short. Every extra field costs you submissions.

Tracking from day one Analytics and Search Console configured at launch, not months later when somebody finally asks how the site is doing.

That way you can see which pages bring enquiries, which searches bring people in, and where visitors give up. Without it you are guessing, and guessing is how sites stay broken for years.

Who this is for

Businesses whose site is old, slow, hard to update, or simply not producing enquiries.
